Sketch 36: Simple Sunday Pleasures

Life happens in the morning; the time of energy, light, and fresh thoughts. This little sketch is a celebration of urban Sunday mornings, probably my favourite time of the whole week. Every Sunday, I would go out, wander the streets, smile at my fellow citizens, and head to an edgy cafe for an overpriced flat white and croissant that fill me with pure joy, hence, are totally worth it. The sketch is from my trip to London, where I visited my friends at the turn of the summer, one of the most adventurous travel experiences over the last half a year. To be surrounded by others, sit in the sunshine and enjoy a cup of coffee: that much, I know, is enough for my happiness.
